Hospitality in Africa would like to start up a chain of Networking Gatherings all over Africa, where we can socalise and meet other colleagues and clients in a casual environment. HiA is planning our very first HiA Network Gathering for Gauteng in South Africa in September. We have chosen Lory Park as our venue as it is relaxed and members may bring their children. So if you are interested, please tick the registration box below. As we feel out the responce, we will contact you with more information.
Venue
Description
Lory Park is an ideal venue for small groups who want something different. A group of up to 200 people can be accommodated in our bigger lapa, surrounded by tigers, lions, leopards and exotic birds.
Company Functions
Lory Park is a great place for company functions. What better place to get to know your colleagues than at the Park, and getting to know our animals. At the end of the day, your Company may wish to support Lory Park by adopting or sponsoring one of our animals. For catering requirements, the best person to speak to is Matty, our catering co-ordinator. Entrance fees for the public will apply.
LARGE LAPA
The large lapa may be booked for functions and parties at a rate of R 600 per day. Situated close to the tea garden, it is the ideal location for a large group.
SMALL LAPA
The small lapa situated between the Tigers and the Lions enclosure and accommodates about 20 people comfortably. This lapa is available at R 300 per day and has a large braai next to the lapa.
BRAAI AREAS
Lory Park has a few braai areas scattered around the park. These braai areas are at your disposal free of charge but you will need to bring your own food and utensils.
PICNIC AREAS
You are welcome to picnic anywhere in the Park as long as you are not blocking Park services. You are not charged for picnicing and you may bring your own food and drink. But please support our tee garden shop where possible.
TEA GARDEN
Our Tea Garden is open to everyone including small parties and groups but a R150.00 Levy will be charged for all self catering parties using the tea garden area.
NO ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED TO BE BROUGHT IN!
